yeah wish I read the comments. totally trashed my 1.5.01 install and I'm having to reinstall it and all my extensions rather than just rollback the new version.

Guys, the distribution had been pkaced on Mozilla's FTP server in the /pub area. "dc", I agree with you that maybe I could have given a stronger warning, but I said that it's a Alpha release with all its consequences. "Vesa", no comments for you.

I think Firefox is excellent. The only problem I have is that it loads too slowly. I hope they have figured out a way to speed-up how fast the browser loads.

Don't install the Alfa version unless you're a Mozilla developer! It can damage your data so don't install it unless you can afford data lost, crashes and so on. The alfa and beta version are for developers only.
